Celebrity chef Justin Sutherland arrested on suspicion of felony domestic assault, threats

ST. PAUL, Minn. (FOX 9)Distinguished Twin Cities superstar chef Justin Sutherland, 39, was arrested on Friday in St. Paul on suspicion of felony domestic assault and felony threats of violence. 

The St. Paul Police Division stated their officers responded to the 800 block of Entrance Avenue simply after 8 p.m. Friday for a report of a person with a gun outdoors an tackle at that location.

Arriving officers discovered the person, later recognized as Sutherland, and decided he didn’t have a gun.

Police say they then spoke to Sutherland and a lady concerned within the incident and established {that a} home assault in addition to threats of violence had taken place.

Sutherland was then booked into Ramsey County jail for felony home assault and threats of violence.

Sutherland has not but been charged in Ramsey County Court docket. Police say the case will probably be offered to the Ramsey County Lawyer’s Workplace for a charging choice when the investigation is full.
